The staff at reception was incredibly helpful, assisting us in making dinner reservations and carrying our bags. The historic charm of the hotel made our family feel at home, and we appreciated the spacious room. Our stay was enjoyable, especially with the warm smiles from everyone.
My kids wished there was more kids' activities available to keep them engaged while we relaxed.

the room was a bit warm (could've used air conditioning) but the huge breakfast spread was incredible (loved the homemade smoothies) and the private bar area was really fun to hang out in. also, the friendly front desk made our arrival great.

The lobby was absolutely stunning, like stepping into a museum! The location was great for exploring the city. Only downside was the breakfast menu—might not have eggs ready when you want them. 😅

missingWrote a review on Jun 07delicious seafoodhelpful restaurant recommendationssweet room treatslong breakfast waitchaotic restaurant vibe
The breakfast buffet could've had more hot options, but I found some killer spots nearby. Lagostim for seafood was a game-changer and Muu Steakhouse served up mouthwatering steaks! Our Deluxe Room was clean and came with some sweet little treats. Plus, the staff were a great help with some restaurant recs!
The dining scene has its quirks! Waiting 20 minutes for a breakfast table was a drag, and the hot food at the buffet could've used some replenishment. The vibe felt too hectic with all those folks marching by from the bar to the lobby. not what I'd expect from a 'Leading Hotel. '

Beautiful hotel with stylish decor. Had a Superior Room equipped with air conditioning, hardwood floors, and a spacious seating area. Enjoyed complimentary Port on arrival. The outdoor pool looked inviting, even though I couldn’t use it. Breakfast featured a variety of fresh pastries and excellent coffee, served in a lovely dining room.

A charming stay in Porto
Woke up in a beautifully appointed junior suite, with views that made sightseeing easy. The staff's personalized recommendations enhanced our adventures around the city. Truly memorable!
However, we faced an unexpected blackout while getting ready for dinner. The reception's reaction was underwhelming, leaving us feeling overlooked during a stressful moment.

The Superior Room was super comfy! The bed felt amazing with soft linens, and the space was really well-appointed. Loved the natural light coming in too. The bathroom was spacious, and they even left chocolates as a nightly treat. Only downside was a bit of noise from nearby outdoor areas at night. Otherwise, felt really luxurious!
